How The “Little Things” Matter In Business

It was during my first visit to the University of Manchester, the UK at February ’20. So, we had gone to visit the city for the weekend.

We stayed in the area of Bradford in a beautiful Airbnb apartment, and our last meal was around noon at Burger King in York train station before our go.

We were so very hungry.

On the way back to the University, we came across a Subway which I suggested we should get in and satiate our hunger.

But my friend had other plans. She went on to suggest that we (home university friends) had met after a gap of 2 months and that too away from states, and a Subway sandwich won’t do justice to the small reunion and thus, we should lookout for a better restaurant.

Someone, from our afternoon meeting in the University, suggested a pizzeria, which makes traditional napolitana dough. Its name was Rudy's Neapolitan Pizza (at Peter Street). It was our saviour. Had we not found that shop, I would have killed my friend for his lame suggestion before dying of hunger. It was the best pizza meal that I’ve ever had.

We ordered two different large pizzas, and of course two pints of local (Italian – napolitanas) beer. Unfortunately, I do not remember the name of the beer, but it was amazing. The menu isn’t huge but there’s enough variety and everything is done well (if you’re looking for something a bit different, their specials are always weird and wonderful!)

Really enjoyed it, great décor throughout and never felt pressurized when eating, so that they could turn the table around for the people still waiting.

PS: Fortunately, I have taken several pictures for this meal, which I didn’t used to.
